Aaron Cathey

I'm an advertising copywriter with three years experience. In that three years I've worked for many brands and written for many mediums. I've created ideas in print, radio, broadcast, collateral, websites and non-traditional. I've also developed a few things I believe in over these last few years. It's a work in progress. And here they are:

1. Great creative ideas come from hard work. Duh! Sad thing is, not many people put in the work necessary. I'm not one of them.

2. There's no obstacle that can hold back a simple, strong big idea. Not budget, not feedback, not nothing.

3. Even those small neglected pieces deserve the opportunity to be great.

4. Anyone can come up with one idea. But a good creative should be able to come up with one hundred.

5. Learning is everything. Without it you can't be inspired. If you can't be inspired, you can't do this job.
